Named for the harvest. Built on the people who bring it in.
Ceres was the Roman goddess of grain and the harvest. We took her name because our work is the harvest — and because every harvest depends on the crews in the field.
A Shafter company, working Valley ground.
Ceres Crop Management, LLC is a licensed farm labor contractor based in Shafter, in the heart of Kern County, working up and down the San Joaquin Valley. We recruit, train, supervise and pay the crews that plant, tend, harvest and pack the valley's crops.
We work for growers, packers and greenhouse operators who want their labor handled the right way — and for workers who deserve steady jobs, honest pay and a safe place to work.

1950sOur family in California agriculture
A family legacy, carried forward.
At Ceres Crop Management, agriculture is more than a business. It is a family legacy built on hard work, dedication and a deep understanding of the land.
My family has been part of the agriculture industry since the 1950s, building generations of hands-on experience and strong relationships throughout California's farming communities. Today I am honored to carry that legacy forward through Ceres Crop Management — continuing the values that have guided our family for decades, while building a company prepared to serve the needs of today's growers.
We understand that every farm, crop and season brings its own challenges. That is why we are committed to dependable crews, experienced supervision, quality workmanship and responsive service tailored to each customer's needs. Our goal is simple: to build lasting partnerships with the growers and agricultural businesses we serve.
We take pride in showing up, working hard and doing the job right — because our success is directly connected to the success of our customers.
As I take this family legacy into its next generation, I am proud to introduce Ceres Crop Management as a company built on tradition, strengthened by experience and focused on the future of California agriculture. We look forward to the opportunity to work with you, and to becoming a trusted part of your operation.

Four things we won't compromise on.
Every worker is spoken to with respect, trained in their language, and paid for every minute they work.
Water, shade, rest and training come first — especially in a Valley summer.
When we say a crew will be there at 6 a.m., it's there — with a supervisor who knows the job.
Licensed, insured and compliant, with records that protect our workers and the growers we serve.

Kern, Tulare, Fresno, Madera, Merced, Stanislaus and San Joaquin counties.
Kern County, where we are based, is one of the most productive farm counties in the United States, with a crop value around $8 billion a year. Grapes, citrus, pistachios, almonds and carrots lead the list, alongside potatoes, vegetables and greenhouse produce. Our crews work north from there through Tulare, Fresno, Madera, Merced, Stanislaus and San Joaquin counties — which means work in nearly every month.
